Position Information:
The VA Eastern Colorado Health Care System (VAECHCS), Rocky Mountain Regional VA Medical Center (RMRVAMC), in Aurora CO, is seeking a full-time fellowship trained Board Certified (BC) / Board Eligible (BE) Cardiac Electrophysiologist, who is also Board Certified (BC) in Cardiovascular Disease specialty. Expertise in left atrial appendage occlusion and ongoing productivity in research reflected by scientific publications, extramural funding and/or experience conducting clinical trials are highly desired. Selected candidate will be considered for Academic Appointment to the Faculty of the University of Colorado School of Medicine, commensurate with qualifications, experience, and interest, so will be expected to demonstrate specialty research interests, as well as teaching and training of residents and fellows. Work Schedule: Mondays – Fridays, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, with Shared Call Responsibilities and may include weekends and holiday coverage.
