South Shore University Hospital is the eastern most Long Island tertiary hospital for Northwell Health. Located 30 miles east of NYC on the south shore of Long Island. This 305-bed hospital is rapidly growing and focus with plans to potentially expand to over four hundred beds. The Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery Intensive Care Unit is a 10-bed ICU unit with an additional 4 Stepdown bed
