DescriptionResponsible for observing monitors for cardiac rhythms and reporting alterations in pattern to ICU Nurse. Under the direction/ supervision of ICU nurse, performs direct patient care and general clerical and communication duties on assigned unit in accordance with hospital policies, nursing procedures and standard of care. Clerical duties include organizing chart forms; patient lab order entry; patient charge entry; answering phones; delivery of messages. Cross-trained in OR to perform patient transfer; assist with room turn-over; and supply management.
