MRI Technologist Per Diem - MRI

SUMMARY: Performs a variety of standard and specialty Magnetic Resonance procedures with accuracy, utilizing radiofrequencies, time varying gradients and a high magnetic field, producing quality studies under a variety of conditions with little supervision. Basic knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, MRI physics and image production. Applies the profession's code of ethics in all aspects of practice. Maintains knowledge of, observes, and enforces the safety measures in Environment of Care.

REQUIREMENTS: This position requires a High School Diploma/GED AND a Graduate of a formal program in Radiologic Technology; successful completion from a certified MRI program, or hospital-based program OR a College Degree - 2 year in Radiology. College Degree- 4 year preferred. BLS - Basic Life Support in required. RT-MR - ARRT Reg Tech Mag Res Imaging License required. VENCERT - Venipuncture Certificate preferred within six (6) months of hire or transfer into position. CRT - Radiologic Technologist License preferred. A minimum six (6) months MRI experience is required with Pediatric experience preferred. Bilingual skills preferred.

POSITION DETAILS: Per Diem Position - Varied shifts.

PAY RANGE: $40.85 - $73.60
