Summary
Under minimal supervision, the MRI Technologist performs complex diagnostic Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) procedures, as requested by a licensed physician.
The MRI Technologist produces high quality diagnostic images while providing excellent patient care.
The MRI Technologist completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period.
Other related duties as assigned.
Responsibilities

The MRI Technologist produces high quality images in a safe and efficient manner.

Completes required exams.

The MRI Technologist sends studies to reading station for radiologist review, completes all associated documentation.
20- 24 hours a week, plus call. One/two days a week of call and one weekend a month.
Qualifications:Education
Required: Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program
Preferred: Associates degree or Bachelor's degree
Experience
Preferred: 1-3 years
Certifications
Required:
ARRT ( R ) and documentation of MRI certification, American Heart BLS; Florida CRT License
