Your Role:

The Care Partner on 7 Medical Center East, the Covid Unit, assists with the delivery of patient care and maintenance of unit environmental standards under the supervision of a licensed nurse.

Unit Summary

Prior to becoming a COVID Unit, the VAD & Heart Transplant Unit cared for adult patients who required ventricular assist devices (VADs), heart transplants, total artificial hearts, pre- and post-coronary artery bypass and valve surgeries, advanced heart failure, chest pain, arrhythmia, and pre- and post-procedure patients.

Since December 2020, our unit has been dedicated to the care of the COVID positive patients.

The environment on our unit is a friendly, focused on teamwork, and flexible to accommodate our patient's needs.

Position Shifts:

• Full-Time (36 hours); Days (7a-7p)
• Full-Time (36 hours); Nights (7p-7a)
