We are now hiring for Patient Access Representatives and have Full Time, Part Time, and Per Diem Flex positions available to work onsite at Palmetto General Hospital in Hialeah, FL.

What is a Patient Access Representative?

Patient Access Representatives play a critical role in every patient experience and are essential in providing help, comfort, support, and information.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide great service
• Conduct patient intake interviews
• Input patient information into database
• Manage concerns and fears

Core Skills Needed:

• Professional and positive demeanor
• Strong computer skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office and able to work in multiple systems at the same time
• Attention to detail each and every time
• Excellent communication skills to guide the patient through the upcoming process
• Provide thorough explanations regarding insurance verification results, patient legal forms and patient financial responsibility
• Ability to successfully work in high stress situations such as the Emergency Department

Advanced Skills:

• Ability to take initiative and without constant supervision
