ChristianaCare is searching for a BC/BE Non-Invasive Clinical Cardiologist with interest in ECHO and noninvasive imaging. Level II training in Nuclear Medicine desired but not required.

About the Position

• The successful physician will diagnose and manage the full range of cardiovascular diseases in the inpatient and ambulatory setting.
• They will participate in the full range of imaging studies both in the hospital and in our outpatient diagnostic center and may have the opportunity if desired to participate in advanced imaging in support of the structural heart disease program, and in the area of cardiac CT and MRI.
• They will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with our primary care partners in the development of population health based initiatives.
• They will have the opportunity to participate in the teaching of house officers which includes Fellows in our cardiovascular disease fellowship program.

About the Team

ChristianaCare Cardiovascular Consultants is a large, progressive, hospital-based cardiology group that includes 25 cardiologists and 16 advanced practice clinicians. The section of Cardiology also includes diverse community based practices. The practice setting offers busy clinical practice, opportunities to participate in teaching of Cardiology Fellows and House staff, and engagement in clinical research. The Center for Heart and Vascular Health at Christiana Hospital sees on average 1,800 chest pain admissions and performs over 3,000 cardiac catheterizations, 1,400 PCIs, 1,600 EP procedures and 880 cardiac surgical procedures annually. The Center also provides advanced heart failure services including placement and management of left-ventricular assist devices. ChristianaCare is affiliated with the Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University. In addition, the Center partners with Pennsylvania Hospital for cardiac transplantation and transplant medicine services.
