Work Hours/Shift:

PRN Night Shift 

You Will Be Responsible For: 

  • Provide nursing care/skills to medical/surgical and pediatric patients
  • Provide oversight to Inpatient Unit specific staff related to patient care assignments
  • Manage emergency situations such as codes
  • Assess patients and respond to changes in patients' condition

 

Qualifications

What You Will Need:

· ASN required

· Successfully completes basic arrhythmia interpretation

· Registered Nurse in the state of Kentucky    

· Current BLS certification

· ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire date 

· PALS certification required within 6 months of hire date

 

Job Summary:

 Provides direct and indirect patient care in the clinical setting. Communicates with physician’s / team leaders/ coworkers, as appropriate about changes in patient’s clinical condition, including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology.
