Performs specialized cardiovascular procedures in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory, including but not limited to: records hemodynamic pressures and computerized data, operates special X-Ray equipment, burns c.d.ï¿½s, assists the invasive/interventional cardiologist and Vascular Surgeon with procedures using sterile technique and has knowledge of cardiac medications.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS (including required licenses/certifications, education and job knowledge/experience):
Graduate of accredited program in Radiology Technology, or Equivalent or
Graduate of accredited Cardiovascular Invasive program or equivalent (CCI)
One year Interventional Lab experience required;
One year experience in a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory, preferred.
Radiologic Technology Registration/Licensure as required (ARRT)
Florida License CRT
RCIS within 12 months of hire required.
